Mission of LIR is to implement, catalyze and coordinate development projects and to offer consulting services for the realization of development objectives.
LIR is committed to promote economic and social development, environment protection, rule of law, and human rights in the region.
LIR’s operations increasingly focus on improving the legal and policy environment for development in Bosnia and Herzegovina, for example, through policy-based projects, programs and researches.
LIR’s mission is to encourage social-inclusive projects and programs and to support the initiatives that improve status of women and other vulnerable groups by strengthening civil society’s capacity building to enforce legal frameworks and enforcement mechanisms.
LIR aims to advance women’s rights and gender equality through its programs and projects within the Civil Society Program. It promotes rule of law, good governance and human rights related projects and programs which are focused on reducing discrimination and violence against women in economic, social and political sphere.
LIR’s goal is the synergies between sectors, the sectors are interlinked covering relevant project components of appropriate sector at the local and regional level.

* to stimulate the cross border cooperation among public and private actors, in order to foster the integration, the exchange of information, best practices and experience, with the aim to create a rural development in line with the strategic objectives of the Europeanrural policy involving women from rural area;
