IFC angažovao konsultante LIR-a iz oblasti reciklaže, otpada i korištenja biomase kao alternativnog izvora energije. Izrađena dva biznis plana:
* A.D. „Čistoća“ Banja Luka – izrada biznis plana za izgradnju sortirnice reciklažnog komunalnog otpada
* „Brijest“ ZZ Novi Grad, izrada biznis plana za izgradnju pogona za proizvodnju građevinskih ploča od drvnog otpada (biomase) kao sirovine. Takođe, jedna od preporuka je bila i korištenje drvnog otpada za proizvodnju energije.
