Republika Srpska and Bosna & Herzegovina as well, possessed a huge capacity for development of different branches of agriculture but, still, agriculture is in an unsatisfying, quality and quantity progress. One of the biggest problems, which bother farmers are insufficiency of quality information and obsoletes technologies and work techniques used in every day production.
Trying to decrease negative influence of mentioned problems, LIR in cooperation with “Agency for providing of vocational services in agriculture” implemented “Project for support to commercial farmers in Republika Srpska”. Project was financed by Ministry of agriculture, forestry and water management of Republika Srpska and consists of professional lectures for farmers with topics related to their problems and interests, and single field advising visits to beneficiaries. In each region (Banja Luka, Doboj, Bijeljina, Sokolac, and Trebinje) are implemented minimum two lectures and 40 visits of advisers. Total number of implemented lectures is 12 with 290 participants, and number of visits is over 200.
